Celebrated hairstylist Laurent Philippon began his career in his father’s barbershop in France. Moving to Paris, he went on to assist the renowned Parisian stylist Monsieur Alexandre, where he mastered the classical techniques of French hairstyling. Learning to combine his technical training with more intuitive and experimental approaches to styling while studying with hair artists Julien d’Ys, Orlando Pita, and Sam McKnight.

His editorial work appears in American, British, Italian, and French Vogue, V Magazine, Another Magazine, Dazed, Harper’s Bazaar, and i-D. Philippon’s distinctive styling has been featured in numerous commercial campaigns for high end clients including Chloé, Elie Saab, François Nars, Hermes, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, L’Oréal, Missoni, Paco Rabanne Thierry Mugler, and Saint Laurent.
