Are Mr. Smith products colour safe?
Yes. All of our products are colour safe, which means you can use them freely without stripping your hair of its pigment. Our products are designed to ensure that your colour stays locked in and vibrant between services.
Are your products made from natural ingredients?
While we do rely heavily on natural ingredients when formulating our products, we are committed to creating products that deliver uncompromised performance, which means that we also make use of synthetically derived elements from high quality sources.
Why is the fragrance of my Mr. Smith products sometimes different?
Due to the nature of the natural ingredients used, there can sometimes be slight variations in the colour and fragrance of our final products.
Does your Exfoliating Body Wash contain microbeads?
No. To help protect our ocean life, we abstain from using microplastics in our products. The exfoliant used in the Mr. Smith Exfoliating Body Wash is ground pumice – a traditional, non-toxic exfoliant derived from nature.
Are your products water soluble?
Yes. All of our products are water soluble, which means they are easily washed out, avoiding any unwanted product build up.
Is Mr. Smith product packaging recyclable?
Yes. All of our containers and cartons are made from fully recyclable materials.
Where are your products manufactured?
All of our products are made in Australia. To ensure consistent quality of our products we employ small chain manufacturing and small batch production.
Are your products or raw materials tested on animals?
No. Every Mr. Smith product is PETA certified cruelty free.
In addition, most of our products are vegan, with the exception of our Crème, Shaper, Paste, Texturiser, Flex, Curl Crème, Dry Shampoo and Hairspray.
Do Mr. Smith products contain sulfates?
We understand that sulfates are sometimes harsh on the skin, scalp and hair which is why all of our products are sulfate free. Instead, we use high-quality alternative surfactants which ensure that the hair and scalp are cleaned thoroughly without causing irritation or stripping the hair of its natural oils.
Do Mr. Smith products contain parabens?
No. We understand that some people are concerned with the potential effects of parabens, so we have made the decision to exclude them from all of our products.
